Lately I've Been Hearing About

1. Justin Bieber- I don't love him but I also don't understand why people hate him so much.

2. President Benigno Simeon "Noynoy "Aquino- The reason why its a holiday today is because the new president took his oath. The inauguration was held in the Quirino Grandstand. I voted for him too.

3. Kris Aquino - The younger sister of the new president. She made an announcement about her and her husband's separation just days ago.

4. Knight and Day- The new film starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.

5. World Cup 2010- Sports isn't my thing but I think football players have nice outfits.

Reasons to Quit Smoking

The last time I was alarmed by my smoking was in college. Freshmen students were required to undergo a medical exam. I got scared because that time, I wasn't of legal age yet and I can't let my mom know that I already was in fact smoking. I was able to quit for one full month before the medical exams and drank tetra pack after tetra pack of fresh milk. No, I was not doing weed. However, this type of cleansing may also be done by smokers. The first time I lifted and sucked on a cigarette was when I was about 9. I was still exploring. I got curious on how it tasted. Still, I think I should say that I've been smoking since I was a baby.

My father has always been inconsiderate when it comes to his smoking. Doesn't matter whose lungs get irritated. Nothing gets in the way between him and his cigarette. I've been a smoker for 25 years.

Last night, I felt a slight discomfort on my chest. It was almost faint but you can't blame me for worrying. The pain is felt on my chest. Lately, I've been nauseous. Anxiety attacks come and go and now chest pains. I need to quit or at least cut down. I got so scared last night so I prayed to God,"Please let me live, and I'll never smoke again." I wanna say sorry cos I still had 3 sticks today God. I'll work on this so I can cut it down to a 0.

I should quit smoking because:

1. I can't take myself, or spend for myself in a hospital if I become seriously ill.
2. I wanna experience life when I become successful in my career.
3. I've been considering trying the e-cigarette. It's safe. Rich and successful people use it.
4. I want to keep the lightness of my teeth. I might just finally become a close-up commercial model.
5. I don't wanna stink anymore.

My Inconsistencies

This blog is defeating its purpose. In the subhead, I clearly said "...all written after logging out daily from work." DAILY. What is wrong with me? Geez! I only need to type and elaborate on five items. Ranting will get me nowhere so why don't I just post something to make up for the past month's dormancy, ye?

I shall write a special post today. We will be having 10 items in this entry. Writing 10 points will again add to my much longer list of inconsistencies, but hey, my spontaneity is quite interesting, don't you agree? We shall name this list, "10 Things That Make the World a Splendid Residence."

1. Art - Art documents human history. They are representations or symbolisms of actual events, whether bizzare, painful or endearing. The people in the photos below deserve the credit.

2. Nature- God created all these beautiful creatures and rich plant life to provide our needs and to give us company. The human form itself, is a magnificent creation.

3. Culture- Having diverse cultures in different parts of the world is arresting to an individual who loves adventures and constant discovery.

4. Money- A lot of people have said that money is the root of all evil, others believe it makes the world go round. In good hands and if used properly, money will provide relief to the tired, the oppressed and the hungry.

5. Opportunities- Chances for a rewarding career are handed to us. They come and go but when we encounter one at the right place and at the right time we will be fulfilled. God continues to watch over us and will give us a break at precisely the right moment.

6. Legal Relaxants and Stimulants- We can't be saintly all the way! The world can be cruel sometimes and we owe ourselves some slack. Check out my recommendations below.

7. Technology-  When I say technology, I mean the ones that will not harm the environment. Though I may not be eco-friendly at all times, I promise myself to do my share in saving the planet when I can already afford a solar-powered home.

8. Food- Sometimes I ask myself, "Do I eat to live, or do I live to eat?" Hehe!

9. Family- They can be annoying sometimes but you know they will minimize the damage to your every fall. You cannot deny that you love them.

10. Love- So many expressions have been written to celebrate this abstract idea. It is just beautiful and you will experience its many types while you're here. There's just so many things to be grateful for and this 10-item list just shares a few. Let us be happy for what we have.

I have to get back to my work mindset now. It's a Monday tomorrow. I think we came up with a pretty good list today. Besos!
